Chapter 10: How Connecting with the Groundswell Transforms Your Company

~Three Steps to Create a Mini-groundswell within Your Company:
1.Take it Step by Step (this is not an overnight shift)
2. Each step is followed by the appropriate next step (it is a natural progression, don’t force it)
3. You must obtain support from executives (without this, your organization’s mini-groundswell will fail)

Chapter 11: The Groundswell Inside Your Company

~The groundswell is about relationships, not technology. Here are three things that need to be implemented so the groundswell works for and through your employees:
1. Make sure to promote a “listening culture” from the small guys to the top executives
2. Encourgage by making it user friendly to participate in the groundswell by using incentives
3. Seek out and empower the rebels in your organization.

“The Principles of Groundswell Thinking”
1.This is about person-to-person activity
2. Be a good listener.
3. Be patient.
4. Be oppurtunistic.
5. Be flexible.
6. Be collaborative.
